Paper, lithography. 310õ410 (160õ295) . RGB.
In this lithography Ostroumova-Lebedeva depicts the construction of the Dvortsovy [Palace] Bridge in St. Petersburg, which lasted from 1912 to 1916. The bridge was constructed by engineer A.P. Pshenitsky and architectural design was commissioned to the architect Robert-Friedrich Meltzer. It is one of the most important functional and architectural objects (elements) of the city; it connects the Admiralty side of the city and Vasilevsky Island. The lithograph shows the bridge half-built, as if it were decisively stepping into the Neva with its arch spans.
