Alexander Konstantinovich Glazunov (1865-1936) – Russian composer, conductor, teacher and professor of the St. Petersburg Conservatory (1899), its director (1907-1928). Serov made lithography portrait of Glazunov in 1899, and in 1906, he created his three-quarters portrait to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the composer's work which was coming up in January 1907.
